TERMS AND CONDITIONS
 
  1. Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions. Entry into the competition is free and constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  2. Entry is only open to Australian residents. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.

  3. Consent of parent or guardian should be obtained where a minor may be a participant in the competition.  

  4. The promotion commences at 12.00am AEST on 1st February 2007 and closes at 11.59pm AEST on 4th April 2007 (Promotion Period).

  5. To enter the draw, participants must visit http://www.frenchfilmfestival.org and complete the entry form. By entering the competition entrants are also subscribing to the newsletter and promotion database of AIR FRANCE KLM and its partners. This means that they may email you a newsletter and may contact you in the future by electronic media in accordance with the disclosure statement at paragraph 15at the end of these terms and conditions. There is a limit of one entry per person.  A random draw will take place the 5th April 2007, at 1pm AEST at The Alliance Francaise, 257 Clarence St, Sydney NSW 2000. The winners will be notified either by phone, email or post. Winner's names of the promotional period will be published on http://www.frenchfilmfestival.org on the day after the applicable draw and in the Australian the 9th April 2007.

  6. The first eligible entry drawn from the entries received will win Two (2) return economy tickets to Europe from Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney, via Singapore, on a Qantas operated flight from Australia to Singapore (as part of a code-share agreement with Air France), which will be posted to them to the Australian address provided on the entry form.
    The total prize value is $4,000 (each ticket is worth $2,000) Retail Recommended Price. Please allow 28 working days prior to intended dates of travel to process your reservation. Confirmation will be subject to seat availability. Tickets won may be utilised in any season and are valid for one (1) year from date of issue. 

  7. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable for cash. 

  8. All entries become the property of the Promoter. All entries will be entered into a database and the Promoter may use the entrants' names, addresses, telephone numbers for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes.

  9. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered by any entrant or winner (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any entries that are not received or are otherwise interfered with due to problems with the Internet or telecommunications services.

  10. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned due to any reason, including unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. 

  11. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the promotion and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to state legislation.

  12. AIR FRANCE KLM will retain the prizes until the winner claims them. In the event that the prizes are unclaimed three (3) months after the drawing of the lottery, the gambling ministers of the states will be notified in writing with respect to such prizes and the circumstances in which they have remained unclaimed. The minister will then give written directions as to the disposal of such prizes. Such directions may include permission to conduct a further draw for the disposal of unclaimed prizes. (Under Regulation 37 of the Lottery and Gaming Regulations. SA)

  13. Spending money transport to and from venues and all ancillary costs are the responsibility of the prize winners and their guest. 

  14. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of NSW Australia.
